Moorea Dolphin Center

We promise you an unforgettable experience at our Moorea Dolphin Center. Four bottlenose dolphins cared for by a scientific and veterinary team, live in a huge natural home in the hotel's grounds. They will be glad to welcome you with a fascinating interactive and educational program, and to be fed by you or play and swim with you.

Hélène's Spa

This magical Spa created by Hélène Sillinger, features a preserved paradise where Harmony, Peace and Delight are kings. In a peaceful atmosphere, you will experience the most relaxing and natural treatments, inspired from the polynesian ancestral traditions, made out of exotic flowers, tropical fruits, fresh coconut oil and pure spring water.

Sea Turtle Care Center

A care center and a nursery were established by the InterContinental Resort and Spa Moorea, in February 2004, in partnership with the ministry in charge of environment as part of a larger program of sea turtle conservation in French Polynesia.

Cultural Activities

Polynesian handicrafts are known for their extreme sophistication. Polynesian craftsman (or "mama") creates hats, baskets and mats with pandanus and coconut tree leaves. All items showcasing their skills and dexterity.

InterContinental Resorts lets you discover the cultural treasures of French Polynesia...We organize various demonstrations focused on the local handicraft such as pareu dyeing demonstration, tifaifai quilt making demonstration, flower and shell lei making demonstration and basket weaving demonstration.

Pareo or Pareu is very important in daily polynesian life, as much for men as for women who can tie this kind of sarong in a thousand and one ways.

Monoi oil has an important role in the Polynesian life, during traditional rituals, for its medical properties or for body and hair beauty treatment. In order to avoid mosquitoes the InterContinental Resorts advise you to cover yourself with monoi oil.

Tifaifai: hand sewn bedspreads displaying mostly vegetal patters. The tifaifai is a traditional wedding present.

Lanai Rooms in Main Villa - 48 rooms and 1 suite in the main hotel building and these are closer to the central core of resort facilities. They are comfortable and spacious, measuring 323 sq ft (30 sq m) excluding terraces or balconies that give on to the luxuriant resort gardens. They all have double beds that may be separated as two twin beds. The Lanai Suite (Teremoana Suite) is a unit that is double the size of the standard rooms with an additional balcony, furnished with loungers. Maximum Occupancy: 2 Guests

Garden Suite Bungalows - 16 of these bungalows suites are dotted throughout the beautiful and fragrant gardens. They measure 409 sq ft (38 sq m) without counting their terrace. Beds are king size and there's a convertible sofa bed in the lounge area. Maximum Occupancy: 2/3 Guests.

Beach Suite Bungalows - 28 bungalows are situated on a white sand beach gently sloping into the lagoon, under the shade of the coconut trees. They are of 409 sq ft (38 sq m) size, exluding their terraces. All have king size beds, and convertible sofa beds in their lounge areas. Maximum Occupancy: 2/3 Guests.

Overwater Suite Bungalows - 50 overwater bungalows are around a series of green islands (motu in Tahitian). They are our largest bungalows, measuring a very spacious 452 sq ft (42 sq m) without counting the terrace. All suites have king size bed and convertible sofa-beds.From their private terraces you have direct access into the lagoon for swimming. Maximum Occupancy: 2/3 Guests.
