Turks & Caicos Resort Vacations

Welcome to Turks & Caicos!

Comprised of some 40 small islands, Turks and Caicos attract scuba divers, snorkelers, swimmers, and sportsfishing enthusiasts. The 200-mile-long coral reef – the world’s third largest—draws visitors to the archipelago’s magnificent Caribbean underwater world, while top-of-the-line hotels pamper them on land.

One of the most valuable possessions of the islands are the white sandy beaches, which in total cover 230 miles and are complimented with crystal clear waters. The islands are relatively flat but depending on the island, the terrain can vary from sand dunes to lush green vegetation.

The people on the islands are known for their friendliness.

Beaches of Turks & Caicos
Turks Beaches Description
Governor's Beach A secluded crescent of powder-soft sand and shallow, calm turquoise waters that fronts the official British Governor's residence, called Waterloo, is framed by tall casuarina trees that provide plenty of natural shade.
Little Bluff Point Beach A beachcombing experience.A low, limestone cliff-edged, shell-covered beach that looks out onto shallow waters, mangroves, and often flamingos, especially in spring and summer.
Salt Cay Superb beaches, with tiny, pretty shells and weathered sea glass.
Big Sand Cay Tiny and totally uninhabited, but it's also known for its long, unspoiled stretches of open sand
Caicos Beaches Description
Sapodilla Bay Secluded beaches and pristine sands. A peaceful quarter-mile cove protected by Sapodilla Hill, where calm waves lap against the soft sand, and yachts and small boats move with the gentle tide.
Half Moon Bay A natural ribbon of sand linking two uninhabited cays; it's only inches above the sparkling turquoise waters and only a short boat ride away from Provo.
Grace Bay A 12-mile sweeping stretch of ivory-white, powder-soft sand on Provo's north coast is simply breathtaking and home to migrating starfish as well as shallow snorkeling trails.
Horse Stable Beach The main beach for annual events and beach parties. Superb for shallow snorkeling and sunset strolls, and the waters offshore have excellent scuba diving.
Whitby Beach It has a gentle tide, and its thin strip of sand is bordered by palmetto plants and taller trees. Superb for shallow snorkeling and sunset strolls, and the waters offshore have excellent scuba diving.
Long Bay An endless stretch of beach, but it can be susceptible to rough surf; however, on calmer days this stretch makes you feel you're on a deserted island.
Big Ambergris Cay An uninhabited cay about 14 miles beyond the Fish Cays, with a magnificent beach at Long Bay.
