Nestled on a hillside in the shadow of the majestic twin peaks, The Jalousie Plantation offers stunning sunset views of Eden Bay, leaving guests with an incredible feeling of awe and calm.

Spread over 325 lush acres of tropical forest, the resort is unsurpassed for its natural beauty and is resplendent with native fruit trees, including mango, banana, papaya, coconut, avocado, star fruit, sour sop and hog plum. There are a wide variety of flowering shrubs; hibiscus, jasmine, bougainvillea, and oleander as well as the bright red "flamboyant tree” which attracts tiny iridescent humming birds.

The Jalousie Plantation was once the site of an 18th century Sugar Mill Estate, the remains of which are integrated into the resort. The lush and breath taking setting, one of the most dramatic in the world dips down to a quarter-mile stretch of secluded white sand beach.

Located 31 miles/1 hour 15 minutes from Vigie Airport (SLU), and 5 miles from the historic town of Soufriere.

The Jalousie Plantation's four restaurants offer a relaxed atmosphere for daytime and evening dining. There are themed nights at The Pier and Bayside restaurants, with an A La Carte menu nightly at The Plantation Room, the fine dining restaurant.

Verandah Restaurant
Located in the Great House, serving a full American breakfast buffet, daily 7am-10:30am.

Bayside Bar & Grill
Located at the pool and beach, serving hot and cold buffet lunch plus an a la carte menu featuring sandwiches, burgers, and sumptuous steaks lunch served 12pm-5pm, daily from 10:30am-6:30pm bar service. Friday night a barbecue dinner is served to the Caribbean sounds of a steel band, and live local entertainment.

Pier Restaurant
Located at the Jalousie Marina. Live entertainment Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays showcasing local bands will complement a creative seafood and Creole menu.

Plantation Restaurant
Located in the Great House, elegant dining featuring Mediterranean fused with Far Eastern cuisine open from 6:30pm-10:30pm

Note
After sunset The Plantation Room asks gentleman to wear shirts with collars or buttoned shirts, and full length trousers (jackets are optional). Ladies are asked to wear cocktail dresses or skirts, no shorts please.
