Kauai Down Under Dive Team

Located at the Sheraton Kauai Resort, Kauai Down Under, LLC. is a member of the PADI Resort association. Owner, Josh Helmin is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer. Josh has been a certified PADI diver since 1995 and a PADI instructor since 1996, teaching here on Kauai the whole time gives him a real advantage. Josh is the Director of Diving Operations and he and his staff have been hand selected for their experience, patience and their great personalities.

Training is conducted poolside. Guests meet at the Sheraton Kauai Resort and everything is provided including towels.

Makai Golf Course
Complete with 27 holes of championship golf, full tennis facilities, pro shop, and practice facilities including driving range and swimming pool.

Hawaiian Cultural Center

The Garden Lobby is home to Sheraton Kauai Resort's Hawaiian Cultural Center. Here, local artists and craftsmen display their work for sale and many demonstrate the creation of their craft/art. Crafters vary from day to day. The Hawaiian Cultural Center is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Keiki Aloha Kauai

A fun, cultural and educational program for young guests of the Sheraton Kauai Resort from 3 to 12 years of age. Available for half or full day sessions Monday through Friday, year around.

Sheraton Kauai Resort features five restaurants:

Shells Steak & Seafood Restaurant
It has a sweeping panoramic view of Poipu Beach and the clear blue Pacific Ocean. Guests can indulge themselves at breakfast, either from the menu or the expansive buffet and dinner with an extensive a la carte menu specializing in prime cut beef, fresh island fish and seafood. Shells is also renowned for its bountiful Friday night seafood buffet.

Naniwa Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar
The resort's intimate dining experience. The Asian ambiance further enhances the delicious and artistic culinary presentations. The chef personally prepares a long list daily of favorite and exotic sushi from the island's selection of choice, fresh seafood. the Saturday evening buffet is outstanding.

Oasis Bar & Grill
Poolside spot serving burgers, fish sandwiches, salads, snacks, smoothies, and tropical cocktails during the day.

Amore Ristorante Italiano
Amore proudly announces a delicious menu of traditional Italian cuisine featuring an
array of scrumptious pasta dishes, prosciutto, pork and veal, 3 types of Italian bread, special lasagna and lobster ravioli, all served with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Choose from a romantic candlelight indoor setting to casual cafe style seating. To compliment your meal, try one of our excellent wines, and finish up with an espresso. Open nightly for dinner. Reservations are recommended.

The Point
Restaurant with long bar, couch seating, pool table, and TVs. A cook grills burgers and fish next to an outside terrace. Live music and dancing featured several nights per week. Casual menu served from late morning to midnight. Seating either inside or on the terrace.

Partial Ocean View Guest Room
One king or two double beds, plus a sofa bed. Furnished lanai with partial ocean view. Located on ocean side of the street dividing resort. Light-filled, airy room furnished island style, with rich woods and soft-toned upholstery. Refrigerator, bathrobes, video game console, in-room safe. Air conditioned.

Deluxe Gardenview Guest Room
Overlooking gardens and freshwater lagoon.

Deluxe Ocean Front Guest Room
One king or two double beds, plus a sofa bed. Full ocean view from inside and from furnished lanai. Light-filled, airy room furnished island style, with rich woods and soft-toned upholstery. Refrigerator, bathrobes, video game console, in-room safe. Air conditioned.
