The resort's Hibiscus section features a 152-foot freeform pool with water spouts and swim-up bar; a four-lane, 25-m (27.5-yd) lap pool; and between them a 6-by-2.5m (20-by-8-ft) waterfall pool with barstools. In the Oleander Area outside La Baguette restaurant/bar is a 17-m (56-ft) irregularly shaped pool. The resort's 2-km (1.25-mi) Caribbean Sea frontage features Sunset Beach on calm, crescent-shaped Half Moon Bay, the center of swimming and non-motorized water sports. To the east, long, uncrowded Sunrise Beach (protected by an artificial reef) offers motorized sports, sunbathing, and encounters with two Atlantic bottlenose dolphins (surcharges) in a lagoon pen.

For surcharges, guests enjoy windsurfing, kayaking, sailing, snorkeling, pedal-boating, glass-bottom-boat trips, water skiing, parasailing, banana-boating, deep-sea fishing, boat cruising, scuba-diving/snorkeling excursions, and scuba-diving instruction/certification.

Complimentary recreational facilities include 13 tennis courts (four artificial grass and nine hard surface, with nine lighted), two championship croquet lawns, an 18-hole putting course, Ping Pong, pool, badminton, volleyball, horseshoes, and giant outdoor chess.

For surcharges, guests can golf on an 18-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and featuring a Georgian clubhouse; use an equestrian center offering a jumping course and beach/swim, jungle, and trail rides as well as pony rides; take guided mountain-bike tours; and play on four lighted squash courts. Also for surcharges there are lessons at David Leadbetter Golf Academy and instruction for tennis, croquet, horseback riding, and windsurfing.

An enormous, complimentary fitness center provides weight-training machines and free weights in one air-conditioned room and cardio equipment and aerobics classes (surcharges) in another. Yoga, aerobics, and pool aerobics classes (surcharges) are available.

Located in a quiet, secluded area shaded by trees and bamboo, a children's center includes a two-story air-conditioned clubhouse, a fish-feeding pond, playground equipment, and a thatched playhouse. Supervisors offer complimentary sessions during the day for ages 3-6 and 7-12.

The Seagrape Terrace
The Seagrape Terrace reigns as one of Jamaica's finest restaurants for contemporary Caribbean dining. Set beneath lush green buttonwood trees & caressed by soft sea breezes, the open-air Terrace specializes in nouvelle Caribbean dishes. Romantic evenings come with live entertainment and dancing under the stars.

This restaurant caters to every individual's particular eating habits: early-morning risers, mid-morning persons, those who prefer an early or late lunch, and those requiring afternoon snacks or tea. Special provisions are made for the little ones who often require earlier meal times.

IL Giardino
Located beside the Seagrape Terrace, our air-conditioned Italian restaurant offers a selection of pasta dishes prepared in a distinctive style. IL Giardino is open for dinner only. Reservations are required.

Sugar Mill
On the gentle slope overlooking Halfmoon's beautiful championship golf course, stands the unique and enchanting restaurant, The Sugar Mill restaurant. As a sentinel overlooking the restaurant's Victorian architecture and white walls set magnificently against the surrounding lush green vegetation, the two hundred year old water mill is reminiscent of past grandeur and completes the romantic setting which attracts celebrities from all over the world. This uniquely beautiful restaurant has been recently renovated to preserve and enhance its romantic ambiance.

The Sugar Mill Restaurant offers delicious continental and island flavors for lunch and candlelit dinners on the terrace as well as providing a wide variety of conference and catering options. A complimentary shuttle operates from the hotel every fifteen minutes.

Sakura
Visit Sakura Oriental Restaurant in the Halfmoon Shopping Village, where a warm welcome awaits you. A gourmet experience that tantalizes the taste buds, Sakura specializes in Teppanyaki style cooking. Sit around the traditional hibachi table and watch your very own chef prepare a meal fit for the gods: shrimp, scallops, lobster, filet mignon, tempura, and teriyaki. Sushi and sashimi are also available if ordered one day in advance. Lift your bowl of sake, pick up your chopsticks, and enjoy a taste from the east in the west. Reservations are required. Shuttle buses operate from the hotel lobby every 15 minutes.

Hibiscus Wing
Recently added, these 68 magnificent beachfront rooms and suites offer the ultimate in relaxed tropical living.
