Golf Courses

Campo de Golf Palma Real
The Palma Real course was designed by Robert Trent Jones.
It is located across from the Barcelo Hotel. It is also a wildlife preserve known for its crocodile guarded water hazards. This place has an 18-hole, par 72 course.

Club de Golf Marina Ixtapa
La Marina course was designed by Robert Von Hagge. It is a very challenging course with large sand traps and moguls. It has an 18-hole, par 72 course.

Beaches

Playa La Ropa
This beach has calm waters and a wide variety of restaurants and hotels. It’s also ideal for doing all kinds of water sports.

Playa Blanca
At this quiet beach you’ll find a colony of an endangered bird species. Here you can explore the Barra de Potosi Lagoon.

Playa Las Gatas
This beach of rocky landscape is a popular family destination thanks to its calm waters.

Playa Larga
The beach offers various aquatic sports.

Playa La Madera
The fine sand of this beach extends about 660 feet. Here you’ll find restaurants and lodging.

Isla Ixtapa
On this island you’ll find a group of three beaches: Varadero del Coral, Cuachalalate and Carey, which all are incredibly beautiful and optimal for doing water sports, such as snorkeling, parasailing, jet ski, wave runner and banana boat rides. In addition, excellent seafood restaurants dot the golden sands. Ixtapa Island is home to exotic fish and tropical birds with a few tame deer.
