Scuba
Diving Breezes Resort, Spa & Casino Curacao will happily provide all Scuba gear for the
included dives. Equipment rental is included in the price of
all supplementary dives purchased from the dive shop. You will
be required to fill out a medical history questionnaire and
should you have any condition that is not compatible with diving
fitness you may need a current medical certificate or one may
be obtained from a local Physician for which a fee will be required.
Discover Scuba program is limited to prospective divers age
14 and up.
In
front of Breezes Resort, Spa & Casino Curacao, at about 85
feet, is a famous dive site called the Car Pile, where cars,
trucks, and earth moving equipment were placed to create an
added dimension to the reef area and special hiding places for
sea life. This is a perfect site for a night dive, although
a first visit during the day is advised, so you know what to
expect. Due to the reef proximity to shore, the variety of sea
life and display of landscapes makes diving in Curacao a special
experience. Balmy Water, between 24°C and 27°C (75°F
and 81°F); excellent visibility (100ft) and the presence
of a mild current.
At
Breezes Resort, Spa & Casino Curacao one shore dive per day
is included in an underwater park, adjacent to the resort. Additional
shore dives, boat dives, night dives and certification courses
are available at an extra charge. We will happily provide all
necessary Scuba gear, but you're free to bring your own equipment.
If you are qualified, bring an international "C" card
or a certificate from an internationally recognized dive school.
If not, you will have to participate in a swimming skills assessment.
After passing, you will need a current Diving Medical Certificate
or obtain one from a local physician.
Special
Event- Come to Curacao every September and October to view the
Coral Spawning! This miracle of coral reef reproduction only
happens in September and October one week after the full moon.
Witness several types of coral, urchins and brittle stars release
their eggs to be fertilized in the open waters around the reef.

Kids Club
This serves to advise that the Kids' Club program in the hotel
runs from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and 6:30 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
We now have very basic facilities for babies (0 - 23 months)
and children 2 - 7 years. Parents must fill out the necessary
enrollment forms before leaving children in the care of the
Kids' Club Coordinators.
Older
children are able to do any of the activities offered adults
except for those hosted in the gym, where they must be supervised
by an adult. The disco is off limits except for special parties
hosted before regular operating hours (11:00 P.M. to 4:00 A.M.).
Breezes
is responsible for the registered children during hours posted.
After 9:00 P.M. parents wishing care for their children must
hire the services of a baby sitter. This may be done in advance
through the guest relations desk. The standard rate is US $7.00
per hour (before midnight) and US $8.00 per hour after midnight.
