Swimming & the beach
The beach at the resort is not safe for swimming because of rocks and powerful undertows. Safe swimming and water sports are available at Médano Beach near downtown Cabo San Lucas 6.5 miles away.

Golf
The Cabo del Sol development features a 40,000-square-foot clubhouse and two golf courses, Desert, designed by Tom Weiskopf, and Ocean, designed by Jack Nicklaus, with discounts and complimentary shuttle service for resort guests. The concierge also books tee times at Los Cabos' other major courses.

Viña del Mar Café & Restaurant
Air-conditioned dining room and covered terrace. Buffet and à la carte breakfast and dinner. À la carte dinner choices such as salads, ceviches, carpaccios, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, Mexican specialties, seafood, pasta, steaks, chicken.

Rosato Ristorante
Fine-dining dinner restaurant. Air-conditioned dining room with orange walls, potted plants. Sea-view terrace seating and bar/lounge, also. Choices such as fava-bean-and-pea soup with mint pesto; tuna carpaccio; breaded jumbo shrimp with almond aioli; goat-cheese-orange gnocchi with shrimp; risotto with duck; pork chop with raisin polenta and goat cheese; confit lamb leg with pistachio pesto; grilled sea bass with tapenade. Reservations required. Dress code: Long pants, sleeved shirts, closed-toe shoes for men.

Peninsula
Casual, open-air, beachfront/poolside spot with teak furniture, umbrellas. Lunch choices including salads, sandwiches, burgers, ceviches, seafood, pasta, tacos. Monday-night fajitas buffet.

Modern and comfortable room furnished with 1 king or 2 double beds and luxurious amenities, recently refurbished with private balcony and an exclusive Sea of Cortez view.

 

 

Fiesta Club
Located in the exclusive Grand Club building, these rooms have either 1 king bed or 2 double beds, private balcony with a view of the pool, gardens and ocean. Guests staying in Grand club rooms have access to the El Club lounge which serves daily continental breakfast, appetizers and evening cocktails.

 

 

Master Suite
Located in the exclusive Grand Class building, this suite offers a private bedroom with a king bed, living room and dining room and private terrace with patio furniture. There is contemporary decor, light wood furnishings, marble floors, TV with movie and game system, ceiling fans, coffee maker, minibar, original artwork, glass shower, tub with waterfall spout and phone with dataport.
