What to expect!

The Caribbean offers diverse activities, cultures, shopping, sun & sand, nightlife, history, adventure, and other vacation opportunities. The pace of life in the Caribbean is slow, and remember you are on vacation . . . v a c a t i o n . . ., so relax and vacate from your daily fast-paced and/or stressful environment!

When to go!

The Caribbean offers nice weather year-round. The following are typical seasons:
Peak Season: Mid-December to Easter.
Low Season: Easter to mid-December
Spring Break: March & April
Hurricane Season: June to November

Where to go!

Three regions comprise the Caribbean - Eastern, Western, and Southern. Characteristics of each include:

Eastern Caribbean: Shopping, Sunning, Swimming
USVI, St Maarten, Bahamas
Western Caribbean: Sun-N-Sand, Scuba, Snorkeling
Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Belize
Southern Caribbean: Sightseeing, Diverse Cultural Islands, Scuba
Aruba, Curacao, Martinique, Barbados, St Lucia, Antigua

Getting There!

The Caribbean is accessible by air, and by sea. It is the most popular cruise region in the world. Each Cruise Line possess it's own atmosphere, therefore selecting a cruise line that matches your lifestyle improves the value of your Alaska Cruise Experience.

Preferred Accommodations!

Unlike cruises to Alaska and the Panama Canal, where your cruise experiecne offers an abundance of attractions while cruising between ports, Ocean-view Staterooms with balconies are a popular choice, but all Ocean-view staterooms provide great values on Caribbean cruises.

Regarding Land-based Resorts, All-inclusives are the growing trend, but its a personal choice to either pay for most of your vacation before departing (taking advantage of the economies of scale), or higher individual Ala carte costs during your vacation.
