is Oahu's Public Transportation System, costing $2.00 per ride,
but you can buy a Visitors/4-Day Pass for $20.00 at any ABC
store and some 7-11 Stores in Waikiki. This Pass is good for
unlimited rides anywhere on Oahu for 4 consecutive days.
Circle the
Island:
TheBus (tel. 808/848-5555, or www.thebus.org) will take you
around the whole island for $2.00.
The Circle
Island-North Shore route is Bus Route No. 52 (Wahiawa/Circle
Island); it leaves from Ala Moana Shopping Center every 30
minutes and takes about 4 1/2 hours to circle the island.
The Circle
Island-South Shore route is Bus Route No. 55 (Kaneohe/Circle
Island) and also leaves Ala Moana every half-hour and takes
about 3 to 4 1/2 hours to circle the island. Take Route 55
to visit explore Sunset Beach, The Park at Waimea (view rock
divers), and other attractions.
